Story
Catskills Coffee Lodge is a cozy, comfortable coffee shop on the banks of the historic Willowemoc Creek in Roscoe, New York. The Lodge kitchen offers a simple but exciting menu of sandwiches and seasonal specials. CCL also carries a variety of housemade pastry items, including our infamous Catskills Chocolate Chunk cookie.
Owners, Jeannine and Jessica England have been cooking and entertaining for as long as they can remember. During college years and beyond both sisters worked in different parts of the hospitality industry, falling in love with the fast-paced environment and creativity of the work. They decided to pursue this line of work professionally and began studying at The Culinary Institute of America, both graduating in 2016.
They started a small catering business in the Hudson Valley, but it became clear that the pair needed a place to grow. The sisters have spent time in Roscoe since they were children, watching the town and the surrounding area flourish. When the opportunity to move into what many remembers as the Old Napa Auto Parts, with untapped riverside views it seemed surreal. With a long journey ahead we were able to transform the space.
Catskills Coffee Lodge is a culmination of very hard work, made possible by the entire England family and their close friends.
